Pascetti Steel is proud to have fabricated and installed this Cantilevered Shade Structure at Dolores Huerta Gateway Park, an iconic community spot located in Albuquerque’s South Valley. This custom-designed cantilevered shade structure is crafted to provide ample coverage, creating a comfortable space for all seasons. The structure’s unique design showcases custom papel picado laser cut panels, which allow dappled sunlight to filter through while keeping the area cool. With the help of Absolute Powder Coating, our powder-coated panels are durable and resistant to weathering, ensuring a long-lasting, vibrant look for the park.

Inspired by traditional Mexican papel picado, these structures add cultural significance, celebrating the area’s heritage. The Papel Picado steel panels bring artistry and a familiar warmth, making these structures much more than functional installations. Each panel was meticulously crafted by Damian Velasquez Laser Cutting and reflects a seamless blend of function and form. The cutting-edge technology of CNC laser cut panels allows Pascetti Steel to deliver quality that withstands the test of time while maintaining the delicate beauty and detailing of laser-cut designs.
