Cantilevered Rolling Gate
Sloping driveway and heavy annual snow allowed only a large cantilever for this residence in the east mountain area. We used the finest available sliding gate hardware by Fratelli Comunello, the world leader in gate hardware, manufactured in Italy. The sealed bearings on the carriage assembly require no maintenance or lubrication. A continuous bottom track provides a clean look with minimal visible hardware. This engineered solution also reduces the length of the counter balance resulting in a smaller overall gate length. Commercial-grade automatic systems and a natural rust finish complete this fine residential project.
